Decoration of a Franco-Brazilian apartment in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (78)

The project

A warm and colorful apartment for a Franco-Brazilian couple in Saint-Germain-en-Laye

The objectives

Transforming a former office space into a warm and colorful pied-à-terre for a Franco-Brazilian couple who divide their time between Rio and Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

Our solutions

By restructuring the 70m² space into a daytime and nighttime area, we maximized the natural light intake by creating openings in the form of glass partitions between the kitchen and the hallway leading to the sleeping area.

To optimize the living space, which consists of a living room and an open-plan dining kitchen, the apartment entrance is subtly defined by a low piece of furniture behind the sofa and a custom-designed wardrobe, created by our agency and tailor-made.

For the decor, we chose natural oak flooring combined with bright and warm tones that evoke Brazil.

The stylistic note

A cozy and functional pied-à-terre
